Around 250 Dorset school children will take to the stage at Lighthouse in Poole on Friday 20th April to celebrate the Olympics coming to Dorset in July.
The first performance, open only to schools, will see the children share their anticipation of the Olympics through music, song and dance with an audience of about 1,200 primary school pupils.
Later in the day they will perform to a mixed audience of friends, family and the general public.
They will be joined on stage by local singer David Humphreys who will be performing his own composition 'The Olympics are Coming to Dorset', backed by the Dorset Youth String Ensemble and joined by 120 young singers from across the county.
The performance will include anything from samba and musical theatre songs to ballet.
Tickets for the second performance, which starts at 4pm, are available from the Lighthouse's box office.
