ODEON Dorchester to screen performance of The Nutcracker live via satellite from The Royal Opera House

World-class ballet is set to be broadcast live at the ODEON Dorchester.

The Nutcracker (Live) from The Royal Opera House will be screened at the cinema on Thursday December 12, and due to popular demand two screens will be transmitting the performance which starts at 7.15pm.

With two screens showing the performance simultaneously more than 200 cinema-goers will be able to experience the greatest stars of ballet, live from London's Covent Garden, in the comfort of the ODEON Dorchester.

Filmed using multiple cameras to transport guest into the heart of the performance, the Royal Opera House's acclaimed live broadcasts are thrilling spectacles and unmissable, one-night-only events.

Alan Escott, general manager at ODEON Dorchester, says: "The Nutcracker is an essential part of Christmas for audiences of all ages and we're delighted to offer as many people as possible the opportunity to see this live performance.  At the ODEON we regularly aim to screen a variety of arts performances to complement the vast array of the latest blockbusters."

Tickets for The Nutcracker (Live) performance are priced at £12.50 for adults, £10.50 for seniors and students and £10 for children and teenagers.
