Dorset Police are seeking help from the public to find a man who is wanted for breaching the terms of his licence.

Lee Ivan James Hogben was released from prison on Friday January 11th under licence conditions, one of which was that he reside in Somerset. He is now believed to be in the Poole area.

Mr Hogben is 29 years old, around six foot tall, of broad build and he gels his short cropped hair into a side parting. He was last seen wearing a dark blue sports jacket, dark trousers and carrying a black sports bag.

Police are advising the public not to approach Mr. Hogben if they recognise him, but to call the police immediately on 999.

Detective Inspector Neil Phillips, from Dorset Police's Offender Management Unit, said: "Officers are continuing to search for Lee Hogben and we are following positive lines of enquiry.

"We need to trace him urgently and I would encourage any member of the public to contact the police immediately if they see him.

"Hogben failed to attend [his licence-specified] address, and has subsequently been recalled to prison.

"Hogben should not be approached under any circumstance if seen as he is considered dangerous."

Anyone who sees Lee Hogben should dial 999 immediately, and anyone with information should call the non-emergency number 101.
