Six pupils visited the Charmouth memorable memoirs club meets locates in the village library. The children brought iPads with them and also spent some time troubleshooting on the members' laptops and tablets.
Activities included basic computer skills for internet use, using Google to find things on the internet as well as access to music, films, TV and radio online.
The memorable memoirs group is going on an organised trip to the Isle of Wight next week and many of the pupils were showing the residents the weather and pictures of the hotel they will be staying in.
Jan Gale, one of the group's organiser, said, 'This is a great way of forging relationships between the school and older generation. The memorable memoirs group can learn new skills and the youngsters have an opportunity to find out about the interesting lives that the group members have lived.
'This is just the start of the relationship as the pupils will be visiting a further 3 times this year helping us with our computer skills.'
