By Dorch_People | Tuesday, April 17, 2012, 12:45
A series of open days for businesses will be on offer from West Dorset District Council.
The tourism team will be providing an informal platform for businesses to chat with staff and find out more about what's going on in tourism in their area.
There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the visit-dorset.com website and the new visit-dorset iPhone App which will go live in the coming weeks.
Information about Olympic and Paralympic preparations and arrangements will also be available, and the chance to give feedback on the tourism issues that affect your business.
The events are open to any local business from retailers and accommodation providers to restaurateurs and local associations.
Matt Ryan, Head of Tourism at Weymouth & Portland Borough Council and West Dorset District Council, said: "We are always striving to help local businesses in every way possible and promoting tourism across the region.
"It will be a great opportunity for businesses to meet and chat with those working in local tourist information centres and learn about the best ways to work together and really push the region's best assets."
The events will take place all next week across West Dorset and Weymouth and Portland so call in anytime between the hours shown below and meet your local tourism team.
