On your bike says Council as works begin on Dorchester to Weymouth Cycleway.

A little disruption should be more than worth it for 6 weeks, as the council complete continuous cycleway between the Stadium roundabout and Sawmills lane in Dorchester.

Starting Monday 7th November a new cycle route will emerge to complete the link from Weymouth to Tesco's Roundabout to the main town.  With the Olympics approaching we can expect public transport, cycle paths and pedestrian access to be greatly improved around Dorchester.  

Traffic disruption should only occur during non peak hours 9.30am until 3.30pm, and the roads will be kept clear for the Wednesday influx.
