The Thomas Hardye students were very mature in the way the protested against cuts to university funding and higher tuition fees. But what makes Uni so special that it is exempt from cutbacks? What gives people the right to think that university should be free or cut price? What about all those students who think it's a God-given right that they should go to university, lark about and get drunk for three years and then come out with a tinpot degree?
