At Thomas Hardye This Saturday 12th October (1-5 p.m.) we have one of our Science Fun Activity days. It's based around commemorating the centenary of the death of Alfred Russel Wallace. He is credited along with Charles Darwin of developing the theory of evolution and is buried in Dorset.
As well as the usual range of fun activities provided by staff and students from Thomas Hardye and the Middle Schools of DASP there will also be special displays and workshops from other organisations. These include Dorset County Museum, Bournemouth University and the Dorset Wildlife Trust. The activities are suitable for all ages and often involve children working with their parents.
