Simon & Garfunkel – through the Years is a blend of live performance and multi-media which features narration written by Victoria Kingston, the author of Simon and Garfunkel - The Definitive Biography.
Performed by Bookends (Dan Haynes and Pete Richards), they don't dress up, wear wigs, put on fake accents or pretend to be them. Instead, they pay tribute to their music by performing accurate reproductions of their songs, paying particular attention to the perfect timing and diction that Simon & Garfunkel were famous for. The show is slick and sophisticated and they perform as no other Simon & Garfunkel act can, with just a single guitar and two voices just as Simon & Garfunkel did in their heyday.
Bookends will be performing at the Dorchester Arts Centre on the 21st March at 7.30pm. Tickets £12/10. Box Office: 01305 266926.
