y'Strel's Band

Local musical duo y’Strel’s Band begin their new show ‘The Little Red Book Tour: Songs from the New National Song Book (1905)’ The tour aims to re-connect audiences with songs they probably haven't heard since childhood. The New National Song Book was commissioned by the Board of Education in 1905 and widely used for decades. It includes songs from England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, many of which come from the late 18th century. The performance begins at 7.30pm, with the grounds open from 6.30pm for picnics.
