Ash

clouds, pay cuts, redundancies – everything has been against us booking our dream

holidays abroad this year, so how many of us are staying at home instead and

what is it like to holiday in or near Dorchester?

When

you’ve lived in the same place for a while it’s easy to overlook the options in

your own area. There are plenty of places to have a break near Dorchester

including camping, resorts, hotels and cottages. Check out Resort-guide, World

Heritage Coast and Hoseasons.

There are also quite a few travel agents in

town and staff are usually more than happy to assist you in finding holidays

locally or abroad. You only have to wander down the High Street and there are

at least five that you can drop into for a chat.

Do

you find Dorchester travel agents helpful or is it easier to search online? If

you are holidaying at home this year, what are your plans?
