dorchesterpeople.co.uk are very excited to announce that we are hosting a live band night showcasing some of Dorchester’s biggest talent on home turf, the Corn Exchange.

Collaborating with some of Dorchester’s top musicians, we are providing a stage for acts such as Tom Caulfield, Ansell and Gretel, Patchwork Mammoth, Kipper, Thomas and the Mock Ups and Moontown who have given their services free to raise money and awareness for Weldmar Hospice care Trust.

Dorchester’s much loved compere Jack Daniels will be there to entertain us all between acts and keep us updated on our fundraising efforts throughout the evening.

Steve Charles, a local Dorchester musician battling throat cancer inspired our choice for the charity. Weldmar provides support for people all around Dorset who like Steve are affected by cancer and other life-limiting diseases, enabling them to live with dignity and peace.

There will also be the opportunity on the night to donate money to ‘Help a friend help a friend’, a cause created by Dorchester musicians to raise funds for Steve Charles’ treatment.
