MBE worthy!

What a brilliant vet! I worked here when I was 18 as Philippa's receptionist and she has been our vet for the last 25 years. Couldn't recommend her enough. The practise is animal-centric rather that computer or process focused and this may make for a slightly scatty exterior, but the work that Phillipa carries is out is very professional. Amongst her own troupe of dogs and cats who make up the residents of the waiting room, she welcomes all animals and owners into a unique and friendly atmosphere. She is homeopathic vet and has an array of alternative strategies for healing different problems, but this shouldn't make her appear any less of a wonderfully professional vet who is very capable and experienced performing surgery and using conventional medicine. She has treated our horses, put a pin in the leg of our dog, driven out in the middle of the night to see to a foal being born - all without any stress. She used to have a 'vetmobile' and go making visits to local villages (we lived in Cattistock), but not sure she still does this. Anyway, for something more friendly and equally professional, I'd recommend her practise to anyone.
