A Decent Pub

Large and spacious this pub can cater for larger parties. The food is excellent and reasonably priced and they have a good range of beers and ales. Service is fast, polite and at all times fun, so it's a pleasure to go here and eat. They do a cracking Sunday Carvery, but be warned it is better to book in advance as they get rather busy at weekends. A great place for a family meal out.

Great service in this very popular pub

The Original Thomas Hardy is very well placed and easy to find, right next to an A road. The service in particular is excellent, with a decent range of food from the menu served with a smile and a good sense of humour. The Sunday carvery is very popular (and with good reason!) as well as a great selection of wines, real ales, and spirits. A good solid pub, presented with a smile.

    Family Place

This place is HUGE. It has a huge dining area with several sections including places to eat, places to drink, an outdoor area and it's own playpark.

If you need to feed the masses on a budget, this is the place to go. The pub is part of the Marston's family so meals are relatively low in price and follow the same menu as other Marston's pubs.

This is the ultimate Sunday lunch location for large families with children, but it is advisable to book in advance because it can get very busy!
