The Sydney Arms is what I would call a classic pub. It has a very traditional feel. It is always quite busy with darts, pool, and football often on the tv. I went in recently and the whole pub is well decorated for the world cup. It's pretty good value too and they always have offers on food - they have a steak night on a Wednesday with 2 meals for £10.
They also have a beer garden with a few benches and a sheltered area outside. The staff are friendly and it's a good place to go for a drink with friends after work.
