Having recently undergone a renovation, Tom Browns is steadily getting back its reputation as the best pub in Dorchester. The riverside beer garden is nice to relax in, while the new interior is very clean, warm and welcoming. The locals are really friendly and welcoming, and they take their guest ales and bitter seriously and always have an excellent choice on offer.

I feel that Tom Browns has come along way under its current ownership and is one of my favourite pubs to visit in the town. Its authentic local atmosphere has adapted a more younger audience in recent years coupled with its usual regulars and its spacious beer garden makes it a welcoming place to drink in the summer. Also, most importantly Tom Browns provides an excellent range of local ales and food that makes it stand out from many of the other pubs in Dorchester.

ReportI think Tom Browns has managed to get the younger people in Dorchester and the older generations together in this pub, which is difficult to achieve! They have brilliant local live music on most weekends which pulls in huge crowds. They also happen to have a great range of drinks including a good proper cider!
