Very pleasant food and staff
No6 is a simple and straightforward French restaurant in Dorchester. The menu was very nice, with a wide variety of fish dishes, chicken dishes and numerous specialist dishes. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. They also have a fine selection of wines.

Excellent top-class little restaurant
The No 6 restaurant, much like its title, is a minimalist and contemporary restaurant serving fine British food with a slight French influence. The relaxed outdoor seating and lively indoor feel makes it the perfect place to enjoy the classy food during bargain lunchtimes, or else to indulge in the ever-changing fresh menu. There is a good range available for all tastes, and its popularity speaks for itself I would advise booking a table before going.

I think this restaurant is probably one of the best places where Ive tried a ploughmans sandwich that looks like a piece of expensive art! Im not joking they make a ploughmans in a supermarket look crass! Very good restaurant overall, i would definitely come back again.

No 6 is just a stones throw away from the town centre - come along, sit outside and sip an aperitif with some juicy, marinated olives. Order your Buckland Newton venison steak, Lyme Bay kings scallops or the freshly delivered Gurnard and indulge yourself with an exceptional dessert. Even, if you are in for a short lunch, there is plenty on the menu to get your taste buds going.
