Had a really lovely meal at La Caverna. It's one of my favourite restaurants in Dorchester and great to take your loved one on Valentine's day #bemyvalentine

Housed in the cellar of a former grain store in Icen Way, La Caverna is a family-run restaurant that offers a unique dining experience.

La Caverna was charming and delicious food. Ignore first review, got my restaurants mixed up!

Yep, this has to be my favourite restaurant in Dorch. Been coming here for years and always impressed with the quality. It's great to see an independent restaurant like this doing so well. Makes such a change from the identikit pasta/pizza chains springing up everywhere.

I have been here twice. Once with a boyfriends parents, and once for a date. Both times I loved the place. The staff have no rush to get you out and make you feel at home. Every mouthful tasted amazing, and very helpful to my vegan boyfriend. All three courses were perfect! GREAT FOOD!

This has got to be one of the best restaurants in Dorch, and it has been for years. Lovely Italian food and a great atmosphere. it's the perfect place for a romantic dinner for two or for a bigger booking for a group of workmates. I don't think I have ever had a duff meal here and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Thoroughly recommended.
Its underground location has a great intimate atmosphere around the family run Italian restaurant. La Caverna also provides excellent food if your into your Italian cuisine but has occasionally been inconsistent. All in all at good value for money its the ideal restaurant in the town to take someone special out for a meal or even with a group of friends.
