Fantastic local resource with proper service and experienced advice

I am so happy that we have a little shop in town like Dodgsons of Dorchester. I hate the big corporations with their clueless staff, so frequent this shop regularly for my DIY needs. You can buy single items like 1 hook or a couple of screws without having to buy a massive expensive pack that you will never use. The staff are very experienced and are happy to listen to my half baked design plans and advice what material might be best for the job. They have a great range and will always quickly order anything you need. I believe we must support these wonderful independent shops or we may lose them for ever.
