This recession is losing us some of our beloved shops here in Dorchester, everyone needs to shop local and turn your backs on the supermarkets otherwise all we will be left with is a poundshop, and betting shop and a tescos!!!

Cerijan is a brilliant gift shop across 3 floors with an artistic twist. Based on High West Street in Dorchester it’s the perfect place to purchase cute little presents for children and adults. This place has many a time come in handy when looking to buy a gift for a relative and the service is friendly and helpful here too.

ReportWhenever there is a birthday coming up I immediately go to Cerijan. I must have bought 4 sunjars there over the last year and admit to treating 'myself' too by starting a bit of a L'Occitane collection. Great service and beautifully window dressed. Yes - I am a fan, can you tell?
I have often passed this shop but, to my shame, have never been in. However, I had to get three presents - one for a new baby, one for its two-year-old sister and another for the proud mum (phew, it all adds up). Anyway, I popped in here last week and was very impressed with the lovely selection of gift-type things. It's a quality shop, independent - which is always good and something to encourage. But I was worried that stock seemed a bit thin on the ground for three floors. Good place to go for a Christmas present that is a little bit different.
