Marquee - thumbs up
I'm a big fan of the Marquee, having been to a couple of events here recently. It's a semi-permanent structure, very warm and I love the chequered floor. This must be a real bonus to the club, although I understand there were some problems with residents concerned about the noise that comes from it. I find this hard to believe as there are no houses nearby and you think they'd be more concerned about the noise from the A35! No, a great place for a party, event, whatever. Thoroughly recommeded.

The home of our beloved Magpies. A club which I feel the whole community should get behind and support instead of watching Manchester United and Liverpool on television. Under the ownership of Shaun Hearn I do feel the club is starting to engage that community feel back behind the team with more locally based players and supporters having a more active say via the supporters trust. Also as a venue its building a togetherness with the newly installed marquee which is great for hosting events.

Marquee
I have been to a few parties in the marquee here, and they have been awesome! I went to see the band Jigsaw on boxing day and it was a really good atmostphere. It doesn't take long to get to the bar, there is a dancefloor, spacious round tables and a really good crowd of people there. I would recommend hiring the marquee to anyone holding an event. I have a birthday party to go to there next month and I can't wait!
