I use the swimming pool at the leisure centre for exercise and it's a good place to take older kids for a swim because they have a smaller pool which is a bit warmer and not too deep. They have a well equipped gym too, which is perfect if you are taking kids there for one of their summer holiday activities (e.g. trampolining, football, swimming, etc) and you want to wait for them. They have reasonable prices and a range of sports activities for both adults and children.

The leisure centre has all the leisure requirements for the town such as 2 swimming pools, a gym, and an astro turf football/hockey pitch. Working with the Thomas Hardye School its situated directly next to it and is an excellent facility for the pupils to get into sport to keep their fitness outside of school or work.
