Went to Warmwell to try some snowboarding, the surface was well maintained and the prices pretty good. Quite a compact slope but good quality and not too busy, which is great when you spend as much time on the floor as me.

It's great to have this on our doorstep. It's a lovely place for families with children who can splash away to their heart's content. It doesn't have the adrenalin of Splashdown at Tower Park but it's great fun for all, with plenty of parking. I agree with Toby15 about the arcade though. Cover up the kids' eyes or distract them with a chocolate bar...
The swimming pool at Warmwell is excellent for families. It has a baby pool for little ones, a big water slide for older or more adventurous kids, a big mushroom shaped feature that sprays water and sometimes they switch on waves that makes the entire pool ripple which is great fun for kids (and adults, admittedly). The swimming pool slopes from very shallow to very deep so younger children can play in the shallow bit and their parents are not too far away in the same pool.
There is also a games room and several other attractions. If you don't want to spend your money in the arcade, make sure you don't let the kids see it on the way out!
